Nayya Mori

This musical had a cast of forty and a fifteen- member orchestra. The characters were the sort of people one meets in one's daily life - crooks, policemen, shoeshine boys, clerks ....and just ordinary men and women -grossly exaggerated...but representatives of recognisable humanity all the same. The play was slammed in several contemporary reviews for its farcical elements yet there were letters in its defence terming it fantastic in design and execution.
